The terraces of Moray constitute a fascinating Inca archaeological site formed by concentric circular depressions that functioned as an advanced agricultural laboratory. Here, the Incas experimented with crops in different microclimates, as each level has its own climatic conditions that allowed the adaptation of various plants to different altitudes.
DAY 1: EXCURSION TO THE MORAY TERRACES

The Moray Terraces are a fascinating Inca archaeological site comprised of a series of concentric circular depressions, which formed an advanced agricultural laboratory where the Incas experimented with crops in different microclimates. Each level of the terraces has its own climate, allowing for the cultivation of diverse plants at varying altitudes.
DAY 1: EXCURSION TO THE MARAS SALT MINES
A few kilometers from Moray, the Maras Salt Mines A series of small salt ponds exploited since pre-Incan times. Fed by a saline spring, these ponds create a dazzling landscape of white and pink hues that contrasts with the mountainous surroundings, and their salt is harvested by hand to this day.
