DAY 1: CITY TOURS
Depending on your arrival time in Cusco, the tour begins with a visit to the imposing Cusco Cathedral, followed by the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), an important Inca sacred site. Next, you'll explore the Sacsayhuaman archaeological complex with its impressive stone blocks, continue to Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center, visit the Puca Pucara fortress, and conclude at Tambomachay, famous for its ceremonial water fountains, before returning to downtown Cusco.
DIA 2: EXCURSIÓN VALLE SAGRADO
Start 7:30 a.m. - End 6:30 p.m. – Connection to Machu Picchu Visit the main attractions of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This excursion offers a complete immersion in the culture, history, and natural beauty of Chinchero, a picturesque Andean village known for its colonial church and traditional weaving workshops. We will enjoy a buffet lunch in the town of Urubamba. Afterward, we will visit the town and fortress of Ollantaytambo. Finally, we will take the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo (Aguas Calientes) from the Ollantaytambo train station. Overnight in Machu Picchu Pueblo.
DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU EXCURSION
Start: 7:00 a.m. / End: 10:00 p.m. Early after breakfast at the hotel, we will board the bus that will take us to the entrance of the Machu Picchu citadel. We will enjoy a guided tour according to the chosen circuit. Visits to the most important archaeological sites of the citadel include the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Three Windows, the solar observatory (called Intihuatana), the Inca Palace, and the Temple of the Sun. After our visit, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes. Finally, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus transfer to our hotel in Cusco. The return time to Cusco is subject to train availability.
